You get a key that never want to press it but accidentally hit many times a day. You get a key broken and it makes your computer screen moving like crazy, or it is an important key so if it gone, that will cost you a new keyboard.
Do not worry because with the free software called SharpKeys you can disable keys or map a key to another key so easily, you can save money for other important things to buy. That sounds great.

Now I will show you how to do that.

1. Go to the official site to download and install SharpKeys.
2. Launch SharpKeys, the summary screen of remapped key is blank.

3. Click Add button to start

4. In the “Map this key” list choose the key you want to disable or to remap.
In the “To this key” list:
  • To disable that key: choose “Turn Key Off
  • To map that key to another key: choose the new remap key you want.

Then click OK button.

For example, you want to change the “Caps lock” key to “Left Shift” key, just select like below image

You can also use your keyboard to select keys by click on “Type Key” then press the desire key.

5. Click Ok button, it will show the final key mapping screen. Now click “Write to Registry” to apply the changes.

You then must close SharpKeys and restart your computer to get the new remapping.
