Drivers generally are handled through the Windows Device Manager. To view it, press the Win + R keyboard combination, type “devmgmt.msc” and press enter. This generic method of opening the Device Manager allows the article to work on all topical versions of Windows.

   

Then locate the device you want to check the driver version for, and right click on it. Then select properties from the context menu.

   

When the Properties dialog for your device opens, you will need to change to the Driver tab.

   

Now you will discover the Driver version, marked in the screenshot below.

   

From here you can simply head over to your manufacturer’s website and see if any subsequent releases of the device’s driver fixed whatever concern it is that you seem to be having. On a related note, do you maintain your drivers updated? Let us know in the comments.
